1976
A group of entrepreneurs founded the "Plastik Műanyagipari Kisszövetkezet". Eventually, Csaba Felcsuti left this company and founded the METALPLAST Gmk, which specialized in the production and the development of metal and plastic products for the largest Hungarian industrial companies at that time.

1994
Csaba Felcsuti and his son formed the MP Meta Bt, which began the story of the company’s first brand name. Today, anyone can find the MP Meta machine accessory assortment on the shelves of all European handicraft department stores.

1998
MP Meta became an LTD company.

2003
MP Meta purchased the Romhány-based Widenta factory, which is currently the largest grinding tool and cutting wheel factory in Eastern-Central Europe. Due to the need for coordinating logistics, procurement, and sales activities, MP Meta Rt was reorganized and renamed the MPF Holding Logistic and Sales LTD. In 2003, MPF Holding LLC, New York was also established as the parent company of the MPF Group.

2005
The group continued its expansion in 2005. In favor of the development of the German sales activities, the German interest was founded (MPF Holding Handels Logistik Gmbh), and the group acquired the Bajai Bútoripari Kft. After the consolidation of this factory, the group reorganized it totally.

2006
The Chinese joint venture was formed.

2008
With the effects of the economic crisis in 2008, the group started to purchase companies using its own accumulated capital. Among others, it acquired Clarflex LTD (a flexible abrasive paper factory).

2009
The MPF Group purchased the Kemikál, the largest East-Central European building chemical factory from Henkel, thus becoming interested in building material production.

2010
Taking advantage of the group’s excellent liquidity status and global sales network, the MPF develops an interest in heating device manufacturing and acquires the FÉG, the largest convector and heating device factory in East-Central Europe.

2012
The parent company was reorganized, and with the global economic trends, the shareholders established the MPF Holding South East Asia LTD in Singapore. At the same time, the owners terminated the New York-based company.

2016
MPF Group sold MP Borovi’s furniture manufacturing unit. The 30,000-m2 manufacturing and logistics property that was the production site remained under the group’s ownership and was used by other MPF companies.

2017
The MPF Group established its Asian supply chain subsidiaries (MPF Industrial Ltd and MPF Trade and Logistics Ltd) in Malaysia. These companies are now responsible for the organization of Asian production and international trade. At the same time, the MPF SEA’s operations in Singapore have been limited to holding activities.

2019
The group carried out significant investments and built new factories in its heating and abrasives unit. It made possible for FÉG to produce heating radiators and accessories and also for WIDENTA to extend it's abrasive product line.
